The low-maintenance Shimano Nexus 5-speed derailleur with its wide range of ratios offers enough leeway to master even steeper climbs at the usual cadence. The gears are operated intuitively with the Revo twist grip shifter located on the handlebars.

The suspension seatpost and the Suntour NCX suspension fork provide an extra portion of comfort on the rides. Both absorb small bumps in the road and provide traction even off the asphalt. The fork can also be locked to prevent bobbing on steep mountain passages.

To ensure that everything can be transported home comfortably after a successful shopping tour in the city centre, KTM has given its City XL a practical luggage rack with pannier holder. The LED lighting system ensures good visibility when riding at night or in poor light conditions.
